Higher education in Russia is provided by public and private higher
education institutions. Education in public institution is free of
charge. Higher education is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry
of Education of the Russian Federation, which is responsible for the
accreditation and licensing of Higher Education Institution and for
developing and maintaining Federal Educational Standards. There are
three levels of higher education:
1) incomplete higher education (2 years at least);
2) basic higher education (4 years) leading to a Bachelors degree,
the first university level degree;
3) advanced higher education (5-6 years), leading to Specialist and
a Masters degrees.
The School of International Business offers educational programs in
basic and advanced higher education.
